Who's playing?

2–10 players or teams. Each one gets a secret number from 1 to 10 every round β€” either from your pack of cards, or dealt on screen one player at a time.

Settings

How a round works
  1. Everyone gets a secret number from 1 to 10. Nobody shows it. With physical cards you deal them yourself; on screen, the class closes their eyes and the game shows each player their number in turn.
  2. Read the prompt on screen. The scale runs from 1 (mild) to 10 (extreme).
  3. Each player invents an answer that fits their secret number, and says it out loud. Someone with a 2 gives a mild answer; someone with a 9 goes big.
  4. The class debates and puts everyone in order, lowest to highest. With physical cards, each player shows their card as you place them. On screen, you build the whole line-up first, then reveal it one by one.
  5. Every time a revealed number is lower than one already revealed, you lose a life. Survive to the end and the whole class scores.

It's cooperative β€” the class wins or loses together.
